WIN!! a piece of handcrafted jewellery...

First thing's first...sorry for the really bad pictures! I am a terrible photographer.. there's something (among many things) I'll need to work on sharpish..!

Anyway, would you like to win this handcrafted necklace?! Pierced from sterling silver sheet by hand, this sycamore seed silhouette has been shaped, textured, oxidised and rubbed back to give it a lovely matte silver-grey glow, and placed on a long, fine sterling silver chain. (Should have measured the chain.. but it hangs on my stomach when I put it on if that gives you any idea of length!)

The texture and form has been inspired by the shapes of fallen sycamore seeds - ones which are becoming more delicate and fragile. Again, due to terrible photo taking you can't really see.. but there's a hint of it below.. whoever wins will just get a lovely (hopefully!) surprise when they open the beautifully packaged piece. It's a fairly nice weight to wear - delicate enough not to be uncomfortable but heavy enough for you to know it's there. It's also not too small so it will be noticed! (:

So! How do you go about winning this lovely (well, I think so!) piece?! (of course there's a catch!) All you have to do is fill out this very quick questionnaire on shopping habits and contemporary craft, to aid with my dissertation research. Leave a reply to this post, or email to me at hollyjkwilcox@hotmail.co.uk, and your name will go into a nice big hat and a winner chosen at random from everyone who answers. This is open to everyone, I'm not looking for any particular type of person. You have two weeks (and a few days) to reply with your answers, and I will choose the winner on the 31st of this month. Good luck...!

(and if you don't win, you can be happy in the knowledge that you have helped me gather information for my dissertation!!)
